Lag da Pigniu is a reservoir above Pigniu in the Grisons, Switzerland. The 53 m gravity dam was completed in 1989. It is operated by Kraftwerke Ilanz AG.

Pigniu is a former municipality in the district of Surselva in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. Its official language is Romansh. On 1 January 2014 the former municipalities of Pigniu, Castrisch, Ilanz, Ladir, Luven, Pitasch, Riein, Ruschein, Schnaus, Sevgein, Duvin, Rueun and Siat merged into the new municipality of Ilanz/Glion.

Andiast is a former municipality in the Surselva Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Until 1943, it was known as Andest. Lying close to the ski resorts of Waltensburg/Vuorz and Breil/Brigels, Andiast is known for its winter sports. Andiast is situated 4½ km south of Lag da Pigniu.
