Aldershot Military Museum

Aldershot Military Museum in Aldershot Military Town in Hampshire, England, was conceived by former Aldershot Garrison commander Brigadier John Reed. Reed believed that it was essential to preserve the history of the military town and founded the Aldershot Military Historical Trust to raise funds for the establishment of the museum.

Ash Vale is a village in the borough of Guildford in Surrey, England and the larger, northern settlement of the civil parish of Ash. It is 7 miles from Guildford but is closer to the Hampshire towns of Aldershot and Farnborough, the centres of which are each about two miles away, immediately across the two crossings of the River Blackwater, to the southwest and northwest.
