The Huaisheng Mosque is the main mosque of Guangzhou, located in the Yuexiu District, in the Guangdong Province of China. Rebuilt many times over its history, some historical texts claim that it was first built in the 7th century, but modern scholarship places its foundation at a later period during the Tang or Song dynasties. Huaisheng Mosque is situated 250 metres south of Zhongshan 6th Road.

The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees or Liurong Temple is a Buddhist temple in Guangzhou, China, originally built in AD 537. The temple's proximity to foreign consulates in Guangzhou has made it a regular destination for families participating in the international adoption of children from China. Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is situated 290 metres north of Zhongshan 6th Road.
