Mangerton or Mangerton Mountain, at 838 metres, is the 19th-highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin list, and the 26th–highest mountain according to the Vandeleur-Lynam list. Mangerton Mountain is situated 3½ km north of Cummeenduasig.

Kilgarvan is a small village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated on the banks of the Roughty River which flows into Kenmare Bay. The nearest town is Kenmare which is 11 km to the west along the R569 road. Killarney is 18 km to the north. Kilgarvan is situated 5 km southeast of Cummeenduasig.
