Pallai, also spelt Palai, is a small town in the Kilinochchi District, Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The town is located under the division of the Pachilaipally Divisional Secretary and is administered by the Pachilaipally Pradeshiya Sabha. Pallai is situated 4½ km southeast of Vembodukerny.

Mirusuvil is a town in the north Sri Lankan city of present it is in the High Security Zone which includes Muhamalai the check-point which collapsed after the tensions between Government security forces and the LTTE in late 2006 which ended in the closure of the A9 road. Mirusuvil is situated 7 km west of Vembodukerny.
