Kahanu Garden and Preserve is a botanical garden located on the Hana Highway near Hana, Maui, Hawaii. It is one of five gardens of the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden, the others being McBryde, Allerton, and Limahuli Garden and Preserve on Kauaʻi, and The Kampong in Florida. Kahanu Garden is situated 2½ km northwest of Hana Lava Tubes.

Waiʻanapanapa State Park is a 122-acre state park in Hana, on the island of Maui, in Hawaii. It is located at the end of Waiʻanapanapa Road off Hana Highway at mile marker 32, 53 miles east of Kahului, Maui. Waiʻanapanapa State Park is situated 3 km east of Hana Lava Tubes.
