Dalkey Hill is the northernmost of the two hills which form the southern boundary of Dublin Bay. Dalkey Hill is 140 metres high and has views over the surrounding areas : Dublin to the northwest; the Irish Sea and the mountains of Wales to the east and southeast; and Bray Head and the Wicklow Mountains to the south.

Dalkey Island is an island for which the nearby village of Dalkey is named. It is an uninhabited island located in the county of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, about 16 kilometres south of Dublin and 3 km south of Dún Laoghaire harbour.

Ballybrack is an outer residential suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is in the south of County Dublin, in the Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown council area. The suburb is 14 km south-east of Dublin city centre, and is south-west of Killiney, north-east of Loughlinstown, east of Cabinteely and north of Shankill. Ballybrack is situated 2½ km southwest of Hawk Cliff.

Sallynoggin is an area of Dublin in Ireland, in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, County Dublin. The area consists mainly of former local authority housing built between the late 1940s and the mid-1950s by the Corporation of Dún Laoghaire. Sallynoggin is situated 3 km west of Hawk Cliff.
