The Mahamuni Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple and major pilgrimage site, located southwest of Mandalay, Myanmar. The Mahamuni Image is enshrined in this temple, and originally came from Arakan. Mahamuni Buddha Temple is situated 1,500 feet west of Mingalar San Kyaung Monastery.
