It is located 8 kilometres west of Khomarlu in East Azerbaijan Province, Iran and 14 kilometres southwest of Soltanlı in Jabrayil District, Azerbaijan. Khoda Afarin Dam is situated 3 km east of ساری جالو علی آباد.
