Dartmoor National Park covers a large area of Devon in the West Country of England. It provides opportunities for geocaching, whitewater kayaking and canoeing in the winter months, rock climbing on the granite tors and outcrops, cycling, and angling for wild brown trout, sea trout and salmon.

Cut Hill is a hill in the North Dartmoor region of Devon, England. At 603 metres high, it is the joint third highest peak in Devon and Dartmoor, together with Hangingstone Hill, which lies around 4 kilometres to the northeast. Cut Hill is situated 1½ miles north of Horse Hole.

Postbridge is a hamlet in the heart of Dartmoor in the English county of Devon. It lies on the B3212, roughly midway between Princetown and Moretonhampstead. Postbridge is situated 3 miles east of Horse Hole.

Two Bridges is an isolated location on the river West Dart in the heart of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England. It is situated around 2.5 km northeast of Princetown at the intersection of the two roads that cross Dartmoor: one is the old turnpike road which was built across Dartmoor in the late 18th century; the other is the B3357. Two Bridges is situated 3½ miles south of Horse Hole.

Bellever is a hamlet in Dartmoor, Devon, England. It is located on the river East Dart about 2 kilometres south of Postbridge. The first mention of a settlement at this location is in a Duchy of Cornwall record from 1355 which gives the name of a farm here as Welford, a contraction of wielle and ford. Bellever is situated 4 miles southeast of Horse Hole.
