The Royal Kurgan or Tsarskyi Kurgan from the 4th century BC, is one of the most impressive tumuli of the eastern Crimea. The burial barrow is located at Kul-Oba in present-day Kerch, which developed out of the ancient Greek town of Pantikapaion founded by Miletus.
