Souf camp

Souf Camp is a Palestinian refugee camp situated nearby the town of Souf and the city of Jerash in Jordan. According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, there was 21,900 people living in the camp in 2005, of which 20,530 were registered refugees.

The Temple of Artemis at Gerasa is a Roman peripteral temple in Jerash, Jordan. The temple was built in the middle of the highest of the two terraces of the sanctuary, in the core of the ancient city. The Temple of Artemis is situated 3 km south of Souf camp.

The Synagogue-Church at Gerasa in northwestern Jordan was originally an ancient Byzantine era synagogue that was later converted to a church. It is located within the Decapolis city of Gerasa and is situated on high ground that overlooks the Temple of Artemis at Gerasa. Synagogue-Church at Gerasa is situated 3 km south of Souf camp.
