Kongōbu-ji is the ecclesiastic head temple of Kōyasan Shingon Buddhism, located on Mount Kōya, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Its name means Temple of the Diamond Mountain Peak. Kongobu-ji is situated 220 metres north of Tentoku-in.

Koyasan University is a private university in Mount Kōya, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The predecessor of the school was established in 1886 as a monastic school for Shingon Buddhist monks, and it was chartered as a university in 1926. Koyasan University is situated 140 metres east of Tentoku-in.
