The Golden Horn is the district of Istanbul surrounding the banks of the body of water of the same name, which is a bay of the Bosphorus along its western, European coast.

Valens Aqueduct

With high probability the church was originally dedicated to the Theotokos Kyriotissa. Theotokos Kyriotissa (Kalenderhane) is situated 200 metres southeast of Molla Hüsrev cami Turbası.
