Pelletstown railway station is a railway station on the Western Commuter line in the Cabra area of Dublin, Ireland, beside the Royal Canal. The station was opened on 26 September 2021 by Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan and Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, becoming the first new station to open on the Iarnród Éireann network since Oranmore railway station opened in 2013. Pelletstown is situated 180 metres east of Royal Canal Avenue.

Ashtown Castle is a tower house in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland. It was found hidden within the walls of a much larger and more recent Georgian building, the Under Secretary's Lodge also known as Ashtown Lodge, that was being used by the Papal Nuncio until 1978. Ashtown Castle is situated 1½ km southwest of Royal Canal Avenue.

The estate is located off Chesterfield Avenue in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, with the building's design being credited to amateur architect Nathaniel Clements but more likely guided by professionals and completed around 1751 to 1757. The Presidential Residence is situated 2 km south of Royal Canal Avenue.
