Imam Khomeini Metro Station

The Emam Khomeini Metro Station is the junction of Tehran Metro Line 1 and Line 2. The station was opened on 21 February 2000. It is located in Toopkhaneh Square between Panzdah-e-Khordad Metro Station and Saadi Metro Station in Line 1 and Mellat Metro Station and Hasan Abad Metro Station in Line 2.

The Golestan Palace is the former official royal Qajar complex in Tehran, Iran. One of the oldest historic monuments in the capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Golestan Palace consists of a group of eight palatial royal structures surrounded by a wall, today used mainly as museums, surrounded by an outer wall, which were once enclosed within the defensive walls of Tehran's citadel. Golestan Palace is situated 600 metres south of Imam Khomeini Metro Station.

The museum is the world's most important institution for Iranian history and one of the most comprehensive museums globally, home to over 3 million artifacts. National Museum of Iran is situated 530 metres west of Imam Khomeini Metro Station.

Malek National Library and Museum Institution is the first private museum of Iran, and one of six large libraries holding exquisite manuscripts. Malek National Museum and Library is situated 420 metres west of Imam Khomeini Metro Station.
