Tkvarcheli is a town in Abkhazia, a breakaway region of Georgia. It is situated on the river Ghalidzga and a railway connects it with Ochamchire. Akarmara, an area within the town, is a ghost town with abandoned apartments and factories which became uninhabited in the early 1990s due to the War in Abkhazia, and is home to just 35 residents today.

Agubedia is a village in the Tkvarcheli District of Abkhazia, a partially-recognized state but nominally part of Georgia. As of 2011, the village had a population of 787, of which 75.7% were ethnic Abkhaz and 23.1% were ethnic Georgians with others being Russians, Mingrelians and Ukrainians. Agubedia is situated 8 km south of Adzkhyda.
