Mirasierra

Mirasierra is a station on Line 9 of the Madrid Metro, serving the Mirasierra barrio. It is located in fare Zone A. The building of the station faced controversies since the original project supposed the wrecking of a high school in order to build the entrances on that lot.

Arroyofresno is a station on Line 7 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in fare Zone A. Completed in 1999 under the name "Arroyo del Fresno", the station did not open to the public for many years due to the lack of development in the area. Arroyofresno is situated 800 metres west of Mirasierra.

Mirasierra is an administrative neighborhood of Madrid belonging to the district of Fuencarral-El Pardo. Mirasierra was founded in 1953. The administrative area includes the southern most part of the new development of Montecarmelo.
