The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, more often colloquially referred to as Xizhimen Church, is a Roman Catholic church located on the southern side at No. 130 of Xizhimen Neidajie in Beijing. It is commonly referred to as Xitang to the locals. Our Lady of Mount Carmel (West Church is situated 160 metres southwest of Xinjiekou.

Beijing Jishuitan Hospital is a large public teaching hospital in Beijing, focusing mainly on orthopaedics and burn surgery. Founded in 1956, the hospital now has around 1000 beds. Beijing Jishuitan Hospital is situated 800 metres northeast of Xinjiekou.

Deshengmen is a city gate that was once part of Beijing's northern city wall. It is one of Beijing's few preserved city gates and now stands as a landmark on the northern 2nd Ring Road. Deshengmen Tower is situated 1½ km northeast of Xinjiekou.

Xinjiekou is a subdistrict of Xicheng District of Beijing, China. As of 2020, the subdistrict has a total population of 84,866. The subdistrict got its name from a section of road on the eastern portion of Xizhimennei Avenue, which used to be a river port but underwent land reclamation in 1438.
