Al-Azhar Mosque, known in Egypt simply as al-Azhar, is a mosque in the historic Islamic core of the city of Cairo, Egypt. Commissioned as the new capital of the Fatimid Caliphate in 970 CE, it was the first mosque established in a city that eventually earned the nickname "the City of a Thousand Minarets". Al-Azhar Mosque is situated 2 km southwest of Buuth islamic city.

Bab Al-Nasr

Bab al-Nasr, is one of three remaining gates in the historic city wall of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The gate's construction is dated to 1087 and was ordered by Badr al-Jamali, a Fatimid vizier. Bab Al-Nasr is situated 1¼ km west of Buuth islamic city.

The Moussa Dar'i Synagogue is a former Karaite Jewish synagogue or kenesa, located at 25 Sebyl El Khazindar Street, Midan el Gueish, in the Abbasiyah area of the Al-Daher district in western Cairo, Egypt. The synagogue was completed in 1931. Abbasiyya Synagogue is situated 740 metres northwest of Buuth islamic city.
