The Canberra Centre, also known by the longer name Canberra Shopping Centre, is a large shopping centre located in the northern section of the Canberra City Centre, Australian Capital Territory, Australia, being the second largest centre in the Australian Capital Territory, behind Westfield Belconnen. Canberra Centre is situated 130 metres north of Platypus.

Canberra Theatre Centre, also known as the Canberra Theatre, is the Australian Capital Territory’s central performing arts venue and Australia's first performing arts centre, the first Australian Government initiated performing arts centre to be completed. Canberra Theatre Centre is situated 330 metres southwest of Platypus.
