Puente Nacional is an agricultural town and municipality in the Suárez River Valley, part of the Santander Department of northeastern Colombia. Colloquially referred to as "Puente" by its inhabitants. Puente Nacional is situated 2½ km northwest of La Capilla.

Called by the natives of the region as "The Golden Gate of Santander", being the second Santander municipality by the southern entrance of the department.
