The Vancouver Aquatics Centre is an indoor facility. It replaces the Crystal Pool at Sunset Beach that was opened in 1928 and was demolished in 1974. A contract to renew the facility was let in 2023 and the project is expected to take seven years to complete. Vancouver Aquatic Centre is situated 110 metres east of Aquatic Centre Dock (False Creek Ferries).

The Burrard Street Bridge is a four-lane, Art Deco style, steel truss bridge constructed in 1930–1932 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The high, five part bridge on four piers spans False Creek, connecting downtown Vancouver with Kitsilano via connections to Burrard Street on both ends. Burrard Bridge is situated 220 metres southwest of Aquatic Centre Dock (False Creek Ferries).
