Mount Gimie is the tallest mountain on the island of Saint Lucia. It is located in the Canaries District on the west side of Saint Lucia. The mountain's peak reaches 950 m. Mount Gimie is situated 2½ miles southeast of Canarie’s Waterfall.

Canaries is a populated place located on the West Coast of Saint Lucia in the Canaries Quarter. It is a small fishing village and it is nestled along the West Coast road, between the towns of Anse La Raye and Soufriere, and there are scenic views from both the Northern and Southern approaches. Canaries is situated 2½ miles northwest of Canarie’s Waterfall.
