The Zoological Museum of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences is a Russian museum devoted to zoology. It is located in Saint Petersburg, on Universitetskaya Embankment. Zoological Museum of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences is situated 180 metres southwest of Spit of the Vasilievsky Island.

V.V. Dokuchaev Central Museum of Soil was founded in 1902 at Saint Petersburg by Vasilli Vasil'evich Dokuchaev. Commonly regarded as the father of Soil science, Dokuchaev started his extensive collection of soil samples in 1880. Museum of Soil Science is situated 180 metres west of Spit of the Vasilievsky Island.
