is a natural rock formation that is shaped like a tall breaking ocean wave. The "wave" is about 15 m high and around 110 m long. It forms the north side of a solitary hill, which is known as "Hyden Rock".

Hippo's Yawn is a rock near in . The rock's resemblance to a yawning hippopotamus led to its name. It is about 12.6 metres tall and is located just outside of the town of , and is associated in travel literature with Wave Rock and other rocks.
