The National Museum of Sudan or Sudan National Museum, abbreviated SNM, is a war-damaged former museum, housed in a two-story building, constructed in 1955 and established as national museum in 1971. National Museum of Sudan is situated 4 km southwest of الصالة الذهبية.

Al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory

The al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory in Kafouri, Khartoum North, Sudan, was constructed between 1992 and 1996 with components imported from Germany, India, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States. Al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory is situated 3½ km northeast of الصالة الذهبية.
