Ayutthaya Historical Park covers the ruins of the old city of Ayutthaya, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, Thailand. The city of Ayutthaya was founded by King Ramathibodi I in 1351, though it is likely to be significantly older, based on evidence showing that the area was already populated during the Mon Dvaravati period. Historic City of Ayutthaya is situated 1½ km south of Wat Khwit.

Wat Na Phra Men

Wat Na Phra Men, also written as Wat Na Phramen, is located in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, on the northern side of the city moat along Khlong Sra Bua, the former course of the Lopburi River, opposite the former royal palace. Wat Na Phra Men is situated 360 metres southwest of Wat Khwit.

Wat Phra Si Sanphet

Wat Phra Si Sanphet was the holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand's ancient capital of Ayutthaya until the city was completely destroyed by the Burmese in 1767, during the Burmese–Siamese War. Wat Phra Si Sanphet is situated 1 km south of Wat Khwit.
