University of Kashmir, informally known as Kashmir University, is a public state university located in the Hazratbal neighbourhood, on the western side of Dal Lake in the city of Srinagar, in Jammu and Kashmir, India, which was established in 1948. University of Kashmir is situated 2 km south of Zukura stop.
