Laßnitzhöhe is a municipality with 2,718 inhabitants in the district of Graz-Umgebung in Styria, Austria. Laßnitz means brook in the forest and refers to the local river Laßnitz.

Ries is the 10th district of the Austrian city of Graz. It is named after a hill range in it. Ries borders the districts of Mariatrost and Geidorf to the west, and St. Leonhard and Waltendorf to the south. Ries is situated 5 km west of Braschel.
