Puzzlewood is an ancient woodland site and tourist attraction, near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. The site, covering 14 acres, shows evidence of open-cast iron ore mining dating from the Roman period, and possibly earlier.

Clearwell Caves, at Clearwell in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England, is a natural cave system which has been extensively mined for iron ore. It now operates primarily as a working mining museum. Clearwell Caves is situated 1 mile southwest of Darkhill Ironworks.

Oakiron railway station is the terminus of the 15 in gauge Perrygrove Railway. The line was opened in 1996 and is now open as a heritage railway, passenger trains run round the train via the loop to couple on with the train back down to Perrygrove Station. Oakiron railway station is situated 4,000 feet northwest of Darkhill Ironworks.
