The Red Fort is a historic Mughal fort located in the Old Delhi area of Delhi, India. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan on the 12th of May 1639, the fort was constructed following his decision to shift the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi.

The Lahori Gate is the main entrance to the Red Fort in Old Delhi. The fort is approached through a covered street flanked by arcaded apartments called the Chhatta Chowk. Lahori Gate is situated 140 metres west of Freedom-Struggle Museum.

The Moti Masjid is a 17th-century historical mosque, not open for worship, inside the Red Fort complex in Old Delhi, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, damaged during the Siege of Delhi, and subsequently restored by the British. Moti Masjid is situated 300 metres east of Freedom-Struggle Museum.
