Simunul is a coastal municipality in the island province of Tawi-Tawi in Bangsamoro. It is home to some relics of what is believed to be the first mosque in the Philippines, the Sheik Karimul Makhdum Mosque, mostly built in the 1960s. Simunul is situated 3 km west of Doh-tong.
