The SEKA Paper Museum, a.k.a. SEKA Mehmet Ali Kağıtçı Paper Museum, is a museum of industrial heritage in Kocaeli district, northwestern Turkey. Situated in a former pulp and paper mill, it is dedicated to papermaking in Turkey. The museum was opened in 2016. SEKA Paper Museum is situated 2½ km southeast of Hatipköy.

USS Eversole

USS Eversole was a Gearing-class destroyer of the United States Navy, the second Navy ship named for Lieutenant John T. Eversole, a naval aviator who was killed in the Battle of Midway. USS Eversole is situated 3½ km southeast of Hatipköy.

Izmit station is a railway station on the Istanbul-Ankara railway and is the main station in Izmit, Turkey. The station is located on the shore of the Izmit Bay next to the D100 and at the western end of Cumhuriyet avenue. İzmit railway station is situated 3½ km southeast of Hatipköy.
