Dhakeshwari National Temple is a Hindu temple in Old Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh's 'National Temple'. Dhakeshwari National Temple is situated 470 metres southwest of BUET Civil Building.

The Shaheed Minar is a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate those killed during the Bengali language movement demonstrations of 1952 in then East Pakistan. Shaheed Minar is situated 550 metres southeast of BUET Civil Building.
