Augustineum Secondary School
School
The Augustineum Secondary School, established in 1866, is among the oldest schools in Namibia. Originally situated in Otjimbingwe, it was relocated to Okahandja in 1890, and finally to Windhoek in 1968. Augustineum Secondary School is situated 2 km northeast of Akureyri.
Tony Rust Race Track

The Tony Rust Race Track is the only permanent motor racing track in Namibia. It is named after former Namibian motor racing star Tony Rust, who was also president of the Namibian Motor Racing Federation in the mid-2000s. Tony Rust Race Track is situated 3½ km southwest of Akureyri.
