Salt Island is joined to Holy Island, Anglesey, in North Wales. It is a natural provider of shelter for the town's Old Harbour from the Irish Sea and is part of the Port of Holyhead.

Holyhead railway station serves the Welsh town of Holyhead on Holy Island, Anglesey. The station is the western terminus of the North Wales Main Line 105+1⁄2 miles west of Crewe and is managed by Transport for Wales Rail.

The Holyhead Maritime Museum is a maritime museum located in Holyhead, North Wales. Housed in what is claimed to be the oldest Lifeboat station in Wales, it houses a number of collections.

Holyhead

Holyhead is a small port town on Holy Island, which is narrowly separated from the larger island of Anglesey, in northwest Wales. The town includes a small medieval church on the site of a Roman fortress, and there is some seaside scenery nearby, but otherwise it has few sites of interest; it's mainly a transfer point for high-speed ferries that cross the Irish Sea to Dublin.

Valley is a village, community, and former electoral ward near Holyhead on the west coast of Anglesey, North Wales. The population during the 2001 census was 2,413, decreasing to 2,361 at the 2011 census.
