Plaza Río de Janeiro is a public park in Roma, Mexico City. It is east of Fuente de Cibeles and north of Plaza Luis Cabrera. The Museo del Objeto del Objeto, or MODO, is a museum in Mexico City and the first museum in Mexico dedicated to design and communications. It was opened in 2010 based on a collection of commercial packaging, advertising, graphic arts, common devices and many other objects dating back to 1810 collected by Bruno Newman over more than 40 years. Museo del Objeto del Objeto is situated 220 metres east of Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.

The Casa Lamm Cultural Center was built in the early 20th century when Colonia Roma was a new neighborhood for the wealthy leaving the historic center of Mexico City. Casa Lamm is situated 190 metres southeast of Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.
