The Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is a Shi'ite mosque, located on the eastern side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan, Isfahan province, Iran. Construction of the mosque started in 1011 AH and was finished in 1028 AH and it is one of the masterpieces of Iranian architecture that was built during the Safavid era. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is situated 1½ km southwest of Amu Sha’iya Synagogue.
