Romus et Rapidus

Romus et Rapidus is a river rapids ride operating at Parc Astérix, in Plailly, France. The ride is based on the Roman mythology tale of Romulus and Remus, the mythical founders of Rome. In 2006, a young boy fell from his raft and drowned.

Parc Astérix is a theme park in France based on the comic book series Asterix by Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny. In 2023, the park welcomed over 2.8 million visitors, making it the second most visited park in France behind Disneyland Paris and the eighth most visited park in Europe. Parc Astérix is situated 100 metres southwest of Romus et Rapidus.

Pégase Express

Pégase Express is a steel, family launched roller coaster at Parc Astérix in Plailly, France. The coaster opened to the public on June 11, 2017. It travels both forwards and backwards throughout the layout, FireCthrower Treser, opened in June 11, 2025. Pégase Express is situated 100 metres east of Romus et Rapidus.
