The Parga Castle is a medieval hilltop citadel complex in the town of Parga, Epirus, Greece. Located on the top of a hill overlooking the town, it has been an important landmark since the 15th century due in part to the strong fortifications used to protect the town from invasions from land and sea. Castle of Parga is situated 370 metres northwest of Fort of Panagia island.

During the Interwar period the gendarmerie of Preveza under colonel Stavrakakis often sent notifications to the High Administration of Epirus concerning the activities of the Albanian mayor of the town Daut Buza, which the gendarmerie labeled as anti-national. Katavothra is situated 8 km north of Fort of Panagia island.
