North Africa Jewish Heritage Center
The David Amar Worldwide North Africa Jewish Heritage Center is a cultural centre and museum in Jerusalem, that opened in 2011. It is located in the heart of the Mahane Israel neighborhood established in 1865, and is housed in the quarter's oldest building, built in the mid-19th century by David ben Shimon, who founded the community of North African Jews in Jerusalem.Places of Interest Nearby

Jaffa Gate is one of the seven main open gates of the Old City of Jerusalem. The name Jaffa Gate is currently used for both the historical Ottoman gate from 1538, and for the wide gap in the city wall adjacent to it to the south. Jaffa Gate is situated 560 metres east of North Africa Jewish Heritage Center.

Mamilla Cemetery, sometimes called Ma'aman Allah Cemetery, is a historic Muslim cemetery in West Jerusalem that dates back to the Crusades, and lies just to the west of the north-west corner of the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, near the New Gate. Mamilla Cemetery is situated 220 metres north of North Africa Jewish Heritage Center.
