Novaya Square is a square in Moscow Oblast, Central Russia. Novaya Square is situated nearby to Russian Orthodox University, as well as near Church of Saint John the Evangelist under Elm-tree.

The Bolshoi Theatre is a historic opera house in Moscow, Russia, originally designed by architect Joseph Bové. Before the October Revolution it was a part of the Imperial Theatres of the Russian Empire along with Maly Theatre in Moscow and a few theatres in Saint Petersburg. Bolshoi Theatre is situated 650 metres northwest of Novaya Square.

Lubyanka Square

Lubyanskaya Square, or simply Lubyanka in Moscow lies about 900 metres north-east of Red Square. History first records its name in 1480, when Grand Prince Ivan III of Moscow, who had conquered Novgorod in 1471, settled many Novgorodians in the area. Lubyanka Square is situated 220 metres northwest of Novaya Square.
