Theatre Square is a major square in the Śródmieście district of Warsaw, Poland. It spans from the Great Theatre building to Senatorska Street. The origins of the square date back to the beginning of the 19th century, when a small square was established in 1818.

The Blank Palace is a historic building on Senatorska Street in Warsaw, Poland. It is adjacent the much larger Jabłonowski Palace. The palace was built by architect Szymon Bogumił Zug between 1762 and 1764 for Filip Nereusz Szaniawski.

Sigismund’s Column

Sigismund's Column, originally erected in 1644, is located at Castle Square, Warsaw, Poland and is one of Warsaw's most famous landmarks as well as the first secular monument in the form of a column in modern history. Sigismund’s Column is situated 420 metres northeast of Julian Kulski.

Old and New Town

The Old Town and New Town are the two oldest parts of Warsaw. Administratively, they are neighbourhoods in the district of Śródmieście. The Old Town is comparatively small to the old towns of many other European cities, as during the time of its development Warsaw was a small town of mostly local importance and not yet the capital of Poland.

Mariensztat is a historic neighbourhood along the Vistula river in central Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Situated between the riverbank and the UNESCO-protected Old Town, Mariensztat is part of the larger Śródmieście borough and is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods.
