Chersonesus, contracted in medieval Greek to Cherson, was an ancient Greek colony founded approximately 2,500 years ago in the southwestern part of the Crimean Peninsula. Chersonesus Taurica is situated 1 km west of Набережная Примирения.

The Saint Vladimir Cathedral or Saint Volodymyr Cathedral is a Neo-Byzantine Russian Orthodox cathedral on the site of Chersonesos Taurica on the outskirts of Sevastopol, on the Crimean Peninsula. It commemorates the presumed place of St. Vladimir's baptism. Vladimir Cathedral is situated 760 metres west of Набережная Примирения.

St. Vladimir's Cathedral is an Orthodox church in Sevastopol which was built in the aftermath of the Crimean War as a memorial to the heroes of the Siege of Sevastopol. Vladimir Cathedral is situated 1½ km east of Набережная Примирения.
