Braine Castle is a castle in Braine-le-Château, Walloon Brabant, Wallonia, Belgium. In 649 the Abbess of Mons St. Waudru ceded her "land of Ittre", including Braine, to the Chapter of Mons.

The Koningshooikt–Wavre Line, abbreviated to KW Line and often known as the Dyle Line after the Dijle river, was a 60-kilometre-long fortified line of defence prepared by the Belgian Army between Koningshooikt and Wavre which was intended to protect Brussels from a possible German invasion.

Nizelles Abbey was an abbey of Cistercian monks located in Wallonia in Ophain-Bois-Seigneur-Isaac in Braine-l'Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium, on a short distance to the south of Brussels. Nizelles Abbey is situated 3½ km southeast of Les Arbrelles.

Ittre is a municipality of Wallonia located in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant. Since the fusion of the Belgian municipalities in 1977, the municipality is composed of three districts: Haut-Ittre, Ittre and Virginal-Samme. Ittre is situated 3½ km south of Les Arbrelles.
