Thanh Hóa station is one of the main railway stations on the North–South railway in Vietnam. It serves the city of Thanh Hóa. It is one of the largest train stations in Vietnam, offering relatively modern facilities compared to other stations in the North. Thanh Hoa is situated 3½ km southwest of Quảng trường Hàm Rồng.

Thanh Hoa is a city in the Central Coast region of Vietnam. It is a major crossroads for buses to the Lao border at Na Meo, but otherwise the town has little of interest to the average tourist.
