The Berlin Wall was a concrete barrier separating Western and Eastern parts of Berlin from 1961 to 1989. It is regarded as one of the symbols of the Cold War. Berlin Wall is situated 1½ km south of Liegewiese.

Humboldthöhe is an approximately 85 meters high rubble hill in the Volkspark Humboldthain in the Gesundbrunnen district of Berlin. It was created after the Second World War by covering the partly demolished Humboldthain Flak Tower with debris.
