Ratna Park

Ratna Park is a park and surrounding district in central Kathmandu, Nepal. It is named after Queen Ratna, the second wife of King Mahendra. It was built for the children and is situated between Rani Pokhari and Tundikhel in the heart of Kathmandu.

Rani Pokhari, originally known as Nhu Pukhu, is a historic artificial pond located in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. The square-shaped tank dates from the 17th century, and was built on the eastern side of the then city limits.

The Ghanta Ghar, situated in the capital city of Kathmandu, is the oldest clock tower of Nepal. It lies in front of Rani Pokhari and near Trichandra College. Trichandra Campus is situated 150 metres north of The Shoes Palace.

Indra Chowk or Wongha: is one of the ceremonial and market squares on the artery passing through the historic section of Kathmandu, Nepal. The intersection of Indra Chowk, along with Maru, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Makhan, Jana Baha, Asan and Naxal, mark the old India-Tibet trade route that is now a vibrant market street.
