Thisted is a town in the municipality of Thisted in the North Denmark Region of Denmark. It has a population of 13,505 and is located in Thy, in northwestern Jutland. Market town status was given to Thisted in 1500.

Hobro is an old market and railway town in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. It has a population of 12,360. The town is situated in a hilly terrain at the head of Mariager Fjord, close to the former Viking fortress of Fyrkat.

Mariager is a town in Denmark with a population of 2,650. It is situated on the southern shores of the inlet of Mariager Fjord in Mariagerfjord municipality, North Denmark Region in Jutland. This part of Jutland is also known as Kronjylland.

Thy National Park is a national park area in Thy, Denmark, opened to the public on 22 August 2008. It is located in Northwest Jutland, along the coast from Hanstholm to Agger Tange and it spans 55 km north to south and 5–12 km east to west.

Fjerritslev

Fjerritslev is a town in North Jutland, Denmark. It is located in Jammerbugt Municipality, 13 km north of Løgstør, 37 km northeast of Thisted and 30 km southwest of Aabybro. Until 1 January 2007 Fjerritslev was the seat of the former Fjerritslev Municipality.
